The Last Newspaper, Cush and Dash Rugs by Blu Dot
A welcome surprise in my inbox yesterday was the release of Blu Dot‘s brand new rugs. Not expecting to see rugs coming from the popular modern furniture maker, I was pleasantly surprised with the look and descriptions of Last Newspaper, Cush and Dash.
Last Newspaper Rug in Purple. Manufactured by Blu Dot.
Modern Styles and Distinct Colors Add Zest to Blu Dot’s New Rugs: Last Newspaper, Cush and Dash.
Take yesterday’s news and throw it. Throw it into a rug, we mean. The recycled and cotton-wrapped newspaper helped Blu Dot form the Last Newspaper rug. Cut in three different sizes – 4′ x 6′, 6′ x 9′, and 9′ x 9′ – the cool look comes in a grey, purple, or slate color.
Each of the other two new rugs – Cush and Dash – are made using New Zealand Wool. The Cush features a twisted wool that creates a fluffy shag atop cotton canvas backing. It comes in larger sizes than the Last Newspaper with a 6′ x 9′, 9′ x 9′, and 9′ x 12′ offered in light blue and slate colors. Dash takes the wool and interweaves a bright insertion of color for a subtle two-toned effect.Together with cotton canvas backing as well, the Dash comes in the same sizes as Cush, but with three color options: Brown/Blue, Navy/Purple and Slate/Yellow.
No more washed out rugs or overpriced and embellished styles trending down your wooden floor planks. Now, with the Last Newspaper, Cush and Dash rugs, your Blu Dot furnishings will finally get the satisfaction of matching aesthetics that they deserve.
