“Trove, the multimedia design firm known for its innovative, large-scale patterns and modern aesthetic, is once again defying boundaries,” the press release reads in regards to Trove‘s brand new, silky-smooth wall”paper” they call Stoneground®. Decorate Your Walls in an Eco-Friendly Alternative to Wallpaper Using Stoneground Wall”paper” by Trove

Using a mineral powder with a small amount of non-toxic resin – which was developed by the Trove design team – Stoneground combines > 80% calcium carbonate with < 20% PE of non-toxic resin in four new designs. The process of manufacturing the wall”paper” uses no wood products whatsoever in creating their proud, waste-less product. The construction itself refines coarse and raw matierals to create an ultra soft, delicate feel that is water and tear resistant. Following its use, Stoneground products can be recycled in many different ways without harming our planet.

To make Stoneground’s calcium carbonate, which is found in marble and limestone, they break it down into a fine powder that is then sprayed onto a non-toxic, resin base to bind. This then makes the paper that Randall Buck of Trove is so very enthusiastic about. He states of their new product, “Trove is proud to offer another wallpaper option that reflects our core values to achieve beauty that also protects the environment. We are very concerned by what is happening to our forests and waterways, and Stoneground presents an exciting tree-free solution.”
