At ICFF: The PL Series Planters by Collaboration

Pair a modern building with rustic planters and the sight of much-needed greens and budding flowers can seem out of place. With the PL Series by the Vancouver-based company that goes by Collaboration, create the striking combination of innovative materials and a contemporary design that compliments your facade or interior space in a new way.

The PL Series by Marie Khouri for Collaboration.

ICFF saw the launch of a partnership between two people who understand design from very different places. Together, the Louvre-educated Creative Director, Marie Khouri, and landscape designer, Dave Demers, formed Collaboration to give our interior and exterior spaces the choice to scale planters to fit your modern project.

Choose between six different sizes – from round and low to tall and thin – in various dimensions to suit your space. From there, opt between materials: a Lightweight Concrete (GFRC) or a Proprietary Fiberglass material. The color choices for both are: natural white, silver, charcoal, sand buff, or dark walnut (add black and red to the Fiberglass list).

The essence of Collaboration may be found in its very name. For Collaboration, French sculptor Marie Khouri  brings some of the exclusivity and sophistication of the art gallery to a context of conditionality and practicality familiar to Québec landscape designer Dave Demers. This fertile if unlikely mélange results in original and charismatic  products marrying seamlessly matters of form and function.
