The Clear Channel: Vetroslide by GEZE UK

To the untrained eye, interior glass doors are as transparent to a space as the gifted vase on your shelf. With the new Vetroslide manual glass sliding door system by GEZE UK, the modest chemistry of a glass door and its innovation becomes, well, clear.

Vetroslide. Designed by GEZE UK.

The Vetroslide door system runs along a stainless steel rail made from point-fixed glass blades. With the help of sliding glass leaves that can weigh up to 80kg that include an anti-lifting device and are held with filigree point-fixed rollers, they are strong in functionality but effortless in form.

The floor guide uses felt inserts to further enhance its ability to glide smoothly. Since industrial-looking fixtures and fittings can sometimes look heavy, they chose simple pieces that perform effortlessly. Along the same line, the Vetroslide offers the same protection and privacy as a solid wall or door when combined with a toughened or laminated safety glass for heightened security. Being a transparent division also conducts the natural energy that daylight brings into any conjoined office or room.
