Jaclo’s Lumiere Collection Reinvents the Showerhead
Every deluxe shower should have two things: water and light. There's little point in having a powerful massaging showerhead if murky shadows still lurk. In the past, the combination of water and electricity has resulted in technical problems (often comically reenacted in black and white cartoons). While most of these issues have been solved-with entire companies now devoted to bathroom lighting-there remains one pesky problem: How do you artfully combine lighting and the showerhead?
Lumiere Quadrato. Manufactured by Jaclo.
is tackling this issue by offering a new line of showerheads that both provide water and light. Their Lumiere Collection showcases two alternatives, the Lumiere Circulare and the Lumiere Quadrato. Either choice, circle or square, comes in three designs: flowers and vertical or horizontal stripes. The striped Lumiere is available with black, silver, or red stripes; the floral Lumiere is available with black or silver blooms.
Lumiere Circulare. Manufactured by Jaclo.
Despite its compact size, the 12" x 12" Lumiere Quadrato is a rain canopy of 252 jets. In fact, all the models should make you feel like you've been caught in a rainstorm-a summer rainstorm. Lit internally by LED lights, the Lumiere Collection showers you with water and light. You should leave the shower feeling like a sunflower leaning into bright rays, petals still dewy after a morning rain. The idea is highly inventive as are available variations. The Lumiere Collection is especially sleek in the red vertically striped Quadrato and particularly feminine in the black florally decorative Circulare. If personified, the Quadrato is William Powell in The Thin Man while the Circulare is Leslie Caron in Gigi. Whichever you prefer, the Lumiere Collection joins the most primal elements of fire and water.
