At IIDEX, NeoCon Canada: Hush Modular
At IIDEX, NeoCon Canada one will get to experience a diverse cornucopia of projects that not only mirror the exhibitor's quest to impress the discerning client, but also articulate their own individual vision. So if at one end we have the ViceVersa Bridges which is all about communication and creating open dialogue, at the other end of spectrum we have Hush Modular that proffer a sense of solitude in open spaces.
Hush Modular. Designed by David Ritch and Mark Saffell of 5d Studio. Manufactured by Workplace Elements.
Any high-end furniture demands excessive detailing and unwavering commitment, since a mark of a good product is its functionality and timeless appeal. The Hush Modular system is an imaginative take on public seating as it provides divergent solutions and not just a variant of the same hackneyed idea. At IIDEX, the Hush Modular System is being exhibited by Workplace Elements at booth number 525.
Designed by David Ritch and Mark Saffell of 5d Studio, the range consists of different configurations that include two-person love seats, individual pods as well as large-scale settings. Multi-functionality defines the line as its ideal for meeting areas, corporate lobbies or any commercial design space that is constantly embryonic and is open to modular arrangements.
Functionality, flexibility, and flair characterize the Hush. While privacy is the key to this project, any commercial project without communication is extraneous. Hence, Hush also works with connecting tables and lays emphasis on "intimacy during study and conversation". It doesn't surprise us thatĀ the lounge chairs are available in private (high back) and public (low back) models, either individually or in modular combinations with armless, right-end, left-end, and corner lounge units.
TheĀ sanctity of personal space is underlined in the Hush Modular system, however not at the expense of communication, making the system highly paradoxical, and hence fascinating. Elegant functionality is exemplified in this flexible seating solution that widens the ambit and accommodates with existing structures.
