Wick Chair by Karl Malmvall & Jesper Stahl

While many people may see a wicker basket as a good receptacle for storing fruit and vegetables, Swedish designers Karl Malmvall and Jesper Stahl used it as inspiration for their Wick Chair.

Each chair is made using interwoven pieces of laminated wood in either blonde or black that are carefully manufactured so to mimic a basket. For the base, both metal legs and wheels are available.

The Wick Chair is manufactured in Nybro, considered the heartland of the Swedish furniture industry.
