Lighting for acoustical ceilings in offices has looked about the same for decades, but the technology behind technical ceiling lighting is finally changing. Hopping on the trend of integrating energy efficient LED lighting into workplace interiors, B.Lux has introduced a new modular LED ceiling fixture, Calc.
Calc is a new addition to B.Lux’s DECO collection, which explores the aesthetic possibilities of LED technology
Available as a surface-mounted fixture or as a recessed or semi-recessed lamp, Calc is designed by Italian lighting designer Marco Bisenzi to be a subtle fixture that still provides high-quality artificial light for office spaces. When installed in an 2 1/2-meter ceiling, the lamp creates uniform, glare-free lighting on the surface below at levels of up to 600 lux.
Made from heat-shrunk ABS, Calc measures 60 centimeters square and is available in black and white. Click here for distribution information and a list of sales contacts.
