Ma and Pa bakeries, boutiques, and pet stores are the way to go- meaning I hit up the huge, big box superstores only when the list of random necessities exceeds my post-it note. While the style looks similar to the Piani lamp by the Bouroullec brothers that we saw most recently, the D’E-light LED task lamp features a built-in iPhone, iPad or iPod dock to adequately serve our every device charging need without the hassle of cluttering cords.

The Italian lighting manufacturer has recently introduced Starck’s light in a simple, gorgeous polished aluminum that features its USB socket for the device of your choice above the light diffuser. According to the Flos CEO, Piero Gandini, “It was only a matter of time before Philippe Starck turned his mind to such a popular, desirable and useful object as the iPad. The resulting creation satisfies our daily need for information, knowledge and entertainment while incorporating a radical yet extremely functional design.”
