Light Uniform lines and rounded bases create a bathroom series characterized by understated elegance.
The Norm Bath Collection comprises five items; a pedal bin, toilet brush, soap dispenser, toothbrush holder and a small storage box with a handy mirror. Made in brushed steel and plastic, the design is both hygienic and user friendly.
Despite their distinctive rounded bases, the products are very stable and do not skid on the floor. Clever features such as a sieve in the base of the toothbrush holder that allows water to escape so that the toothbrushes are kept clean and dry, make this a collection full of neatly designed surprises. Other features include the brushed steel lid of the pedal bin that opens easily, without hitting the wall behind it as most other pedal bins often do. A practical hand mirror is hidden from view on the underside of the lid of the container, but is always close to hand.
"Our work is firmly rooted in Scandinavian design tradition. When a recognizable object gets an original twist, the products seem more fun to use. This is the principle that we have incorporated in the bathroom, whee cleanliness is of paramount importance," explain Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen and Kasper Rønn of NORM Architects.
