Miraflores Collection in Glass by Paul Schatz for New Ravenna Mosaics
Inspired by travels through Spain, Portugal and Mexico, the Miraflores Colleciton by Paul Schatz for New Ravenna Mosaics is now available in glass. Designer Schatz also studied Moroccan design and Chinese fret work to create this collection of striking geometric patterns. The new material brings brilliant colors and reflective textures to the original collection.
Glass Tiles with Complex Geometric Patterns
The Miraflores Collection, which literally means "to watch flowers" in Spanish, features seven designs in ten colorways incorporating jewel glass, shell, 24k gold glass, and natural stone. Granada Grande interprets flowers in bloom with large flower shapes combined with x-shaped mosaics and 8-sided star polygons. Calla presents a curvilinear design reminiscent of the sensuous flower. Zazen is dominated by intersecting circles and triangles.
