Last month, luxury carpet manufacturer Tai Ping launched a new art-inspired rug collection called Chroma.  

The rugs in Tai Ping’s Chroma Collection feature gradient hues and spontaneous splashes of vibrant color.

The collection comprises fifteen distinctive designs crafted in a combination of wool, silk and flax.

Each design has been created as if it were an abstract work of art painted onto a canvas. “I wanted to reconnect with gestural spontaneity,” says Yasmina Benazzou, Global Design Director of Tai Ping, “taking inspiration from various painting techniques.” 

The Chroma Collection will be on display at OFFSITE, a brand new design fair that will run from May 16 - 20, concurrently with the International Contemporary Furniture Fair during NYCxDesign week.
