Combining luxurious materials with simple and straightforward forms, the latest slew of dressing table designs to emerge are eschewing ornate decoration for clean lines and gender neutral styling.

The Venere desk by Carlo Colombo for Galotti & Radice is officially a writing desk but its adjustable 50 cm diameter mirror also makes it perfect for use as a dressing table. Supported by a burnished metal structure, the desktop is made from painted glass with a series of three lacquered chestnut drawers providing storage space below.

Italian brand Giorgetti collaborated with French and Chinese design duo Design MVW to create the Yang chest of drawers. The name ‘Yang’ means sun in Mandarin and references the perfectly circular mirror which sits atop the stack of solid Canaletto walnut drawers. A leather lined tray provides storage for accessories.

Hungarian design studio Codolagni’s solid ash Avignon no. 1 dressing table features a circular mirror lined with LEDs, soft wool draw pulls and a coordinating wool upholstered stool.

This luxurious dressing table by Brooklyn-based KWH Studio features a black walnut frame with three drawers, a circular brass-colored mirror and a matching black walnut seat upholstered in linen.

Lumeo by Ligne Roset is a dressing table with a milk glass top, Dibond-fronted drawer and oval height-adjustable mirror. Choose from an array of finishes including dark brown, natural or ebony-stained oak, or pure white lacquer.
