Faceted walls: Surface trend
Debossed or engraved, inlaid or in relief, this year’s tile and panelling designs have been literally jumping out of the walls. Solid surfaces look like folded sheets of paper as the trend for prismatic and geometric shapes goes 3D.

Touch Wall Panels: The modular Touch Wall Panels are 3D design with an added interactive feature. The panels are thermosensitive and will change color when they come into contact with body temperature heat. When the panel is touched with the hand or body, it creates a temporary iridescent impression on the wall. www.nunoerin.com
Cullinan wall panels by WallArt: This year, decorative wall panel manufacturer, WallArt, introduced a new design called Cullinan. The symmetrical design provides a subtle pattern that resembles delicate origami paper, changing its appearance with the light and shadow throughout the day. As an added bonus, the panels are 100% biodegradable as they are made from bagasse; the residue of sugarcane stalks. www.mywallart.com
