American textile manufacturer Carnegie have introduced Voyage, its first ever line of hospitality upholsteries and wallcoverings that can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Carnegie’s luxurious Voyage collection explores an array of techniques while maintaining a high-quality for commercial usage

The Voyage collection is the result of two years of research, development and editing carried out by Mary Holt and the Carnegie Design Studio. The resulting nine wallcovering and upholstery designs include motifs and multi-layered options, from plush chenilles and metallics to paper yarns and silks.

The Amulet wallcovering design is printed on a gold or silver background coated with a hemp mesh and then printed again. The Illusion upholstery uses an innovative weaving technique to create an engaging and eye catching holographic design of two historical motifs.Locket is a plush chenille inspired by the scrollwork found in the gates of classic homes. The Memento upholstery references the iconic weaving of the diamond ikat motif. Mulberry is a hand woven silk wallcovering with natural striations. Nuance is a supple polyurethane upholstery that is comparable to leather.

Sail is soft acrylic fabric inspired by maritime motifs. The Savanna wallcovering features printed horizontal lines ‘interlaced’ with dyed and pressed vertical paper yarns. Serene is a window covering that features a fresh interpretation of the ikat weaving technique. Siesta is an upholstery fabric with a raw, hand-woven look. Sojourn is a luxurious textured weave with intentional flaws that add warmth and visual interest. Finally, Talisman is a casual yet elegant wallcovering that features a reinterpretation of tribal body art.
