Faceted Drawer Pulls by Pigeon Toe Ceramics
Oh the marvels of the Internet! True, I occasionally have my issues with the venue-mostly with the unending stream of unfiltered information, much of which is sadly of dubious value-but the medium just as often turns up some fabulous finds, some genuine gems of unheralded design, like these Faceted Drawer Pulls from Pigeon Toe Ceramics.
Faceted Drawer Pulls. Designed and Manufactured by Pigeon Toe Ceramics.
Pigeon Toe's Faceted Drawer Pulls are Helpful Hardware with an Edge
Not to resort to a frequently over-used adage, but these tantalizing drawer pulls are literally sharp. Just as Heidi Klum might opine of some up-and-coming fashionista, these pieces are edgy with flair. The faceted design reveals multiple, asynchronous, and immensely intriguing points, just the kind of textural touch the A&D world ordered.
It's not everyday one finds hardware so bold. Pigeon Toe Ceramics' Faceted Pulls go against the grain of most drawer pulls with an uneven design that eschews the usual formula of smooth surfaces and geometric symmetry.
To the contrary, these hand-sculpted Faceted Pulls resemble nothing so much as the time-worn booty of an archeological dig. Indeed, the pulls remind me of ancient pottery chards and epochal fossils, such is the sheen of their smooth-polished surface. Pigeon Toe's Faceted Drawer Pulls are glazed in the color of bone-a dazzling satin white. They're sold as singles or as a set of 6.
