Less is a porcelain stoneware tile that purposefully comes in the “two non-colours white and black.” Designed and manufactured by Floor Gres, Less tiles operate under the premise that less is more. The product offers “architecture without compromises, firm choices, purity, rationality and strong aesthetical impact.”

In other words, the Less line of tiles—available in a range of sizes, shapes, and finishes—will not get in the way of formal design elements. The simplicity of Less allows walls and floors to speak for themselves.

Wall and Floor Tiles in Classic Non-Colours

Like all Floor Gres tiles, Less uses the Florim Color System so that all tiles in different collections use colors that coordinate seamlessly. While this may seem like no difficult task with white and black, these two non-colours can still have quite a range in tone. Less is available in three finishes, two with structured surfaces: Carta Riso, Naturale (smooth), and Rigata. Carta Riso looks like rice paper, while Rigata features stripes. Lay the tiles alone or in combination to “create an interplay of light and texture.”

Less tiles come in a variety of sizes, from the rectangular 60 x 120 cm to the square 60 x 60 cm. Smaller tiles are available too, such as 30 x 60 and 5 x 60 cm. You can order Less in boxes of black or white; each box can be customized by the degree of shade and texture variation, from the monochromatic V1 Low to the highly variable V4 Random, which has very high shade and texture variation in each carton.

About the Manufacturer: Floor Gres manufactures porcelain stoneware slabs and tiles with high technical performances, making them ideal for architectural projects, swimming facilities, and private residences.
