The Amber-Glazed Valley Wall Tiles by ModCraft
Although I’ve never been interested in having special powers before, it suddenly dawned on me: the most awesome super power (for an interior design guru) would be the ability to edit the design of a space with the touch of a button. Today, the 3D Valley tiles by ModCraft reminded me of a normal tile that has been altered by a comic book hero of interior design.
The Valley Tiles. Manufactured by ModCraft.
In a Smoky Amber Glaze, the Valley Wall Tiles by ModCraft Warmly Tie Together Surfaces and Floors
Handmade wall tiles in original designs are a huge part of the ModCraft line-up. Described by Better Homes and Gardens as “combining warm ripples of retro with cool contemporary flair,” the amber-glazed Valley tile is a new way to warm up the walls of a bathroom using modern lines and a rad, raised effect.
The Valley tile’s elegant, high-fire stoneware clay with a shiny finish creates a dynamic visual effect with its four edges that slop away from the center. The wall tiles, measuring 6″ x 6″, can be placed either horizontally or vertically, using the light in the room surrounding it to create interesting shadows.
Combine the three-dimensional tiles with white surfaces, wood floors, or dark onyx for a refreshing effect on your bathroom wall with the Valley tiles by ModCraft.
About the Manufacturer: ModCraft was started by Industrial Designer David Clark in his Williamsburg, Brooklyn apartment. As interest in his stoneware tile and lighting business grew, he relocated his handmade tile operation to a barn studio he built in Hudson Valley’s Beacon, New York. There he is able to design and hand make his products in larger volume. They produce sophisticated handmade modern wall tile using high-fire stoneware clay. The result is elegant stoneware tile with a contemporary and modern feel.
