Get Extended with Damiani Design
illustrates exponential expansion, as the collection of vanities and basins-already known for the literal extension of its stone basins-is multiplying its possibilities of elegant expression. DAM refers to this endeavor as "DAM Extended": "expanding itself in reply to requests from contract and home market... now offering a deeper basin with taps on the stone surface and a marble tall unit in the back of the main basin for tap insertion into the stone surface."
The original DAM featured vanities/storage units of elegant pairings of stone and wood. Thus, light meets dark with Black Persian and Oak; the vanilla tones of Botticino balance beautifully atop the transfixing grains of light Beech; and captivating Lava is counterposed by the equally mesmerizing shades of rich Walnut.

As any critic worth his salt will say, great art expands on what has come before. Just so with refined design, as DAM Extended illustrates. The additions feature the same basic structure-solid transoms in beech, walnut, or oak with adjoining shelves; visible dovetail joints; and generous slabs of 30 mm thick Botticino, Black Persian, or Etna Lava stone. The addenda improve on this formulation by making the bath experience that much more luxurious. Not that DAM's captivating materials palette needs improvement in this regard, but the literal enhancement of basin depth and the actual expansion of the vanity surface tweak the luxe factor just enough to notice.
The upshot is a sublime set-up that evokes the ablutional troughs of Roman times. Not only does this bring a sense of the spa to the home, it also does away with shaving mishaps and the other routine splashback events that soil the surroundings well nigh round the clock. All of this is in the service of Damiani's admirable intentions to "go beyond current trends... to enhance the beauty of natural materials and the value of craftwork to find, once again, a daily contact with simplicity and functionality."
