See the World on the Walls with WallPepper

Travel the world with the Cities and Places collection by WallPepper.

The philosophy that underpins Wallpepper is that “wall narratives [are] capable of giving personality and value to a space, making every room a unique and special place, allowing those who live in it to travel with mind and heart, every day.”

Panorama Westminster, Londra

Panorama Westminster, Londra wallpaper

One such design that delights is Panorama Westminster, Londra. It captures the essence of London with its historic buildings and metropolitan parks. Although no people are depicted, human activity is clearly intimated with the inclusion of a large Ferris wheel and cranes constructing new architectural projects. Westminster Abbey is its centerpiece, emphasizing that there is no other city in the world like London.

Pagoda

Pagoda is an entirely different approach. Its iconic depiction of a natural scene in Japan in monochromatic tones invites the viewer to relax, meditate, and become part of this lovely setting without any action other than interior contemplation.

Somewhere

Somewhere wallpaper

One of my very favorites in this collection is Somewhere. Instead of summoning the imagination to travel to an exciting or new location, this depiction, only in black and white, calls to mind the anonymous, look-alike suburbs that have encircled cities around the world. By placing the client’s furnishings in front of this repetitious design, the message is that you are somewhere, and your room, your house, is yours—and you, as an individual, stand out against the anonymity of this modern world.
