The Flintstones Book Club: Melt Bookends by Arteriors x Workshop/APD
I can’t recall if any of the characters on The Flintstones spent time reading, but I do think Wilma and Betty would enjoy a good book club. And when their titles started accumulating, then they would definitely need Melt Bookends!
Like Stone Age talismans dug up from the earth, Melt Bookends resemble Mayan hieroglyphics. A rounded chunk of stone cradles a wooden sphere in a protective gesture. The result is a monolithic but gentle object, if one can imagine such a thing.
Arteriors describes the bookends quite artistically: “Pairing solid materials and soft forms, grey marble seems to melt over polished natural oak spheres …”
