Mirror, Mirror on my Rock Wall
What, exactly, characterizes a “Flintstones” aesthetic?
If I think back on the decor of the protagonists’ home, I remember monolithic/overly-large items, rough/un-hewn surfaces, and a generalized ungainliness. Oh, and I think absolutely everything was made of stone.
Cassoni’s Era Mirror is asynchronous and has a somewhat rustic appearance, yet it’s infinitely more elegant than anything emerging from that Mesozoic universe. It’s the kind of item Philippe Stark might make if somehow stranded via a time machine mishap.
With frames in many varieties of marble as well as polished XGlass, Era seems to share a fondness for the earlier era’s preferred material.
“Inspired by nature and customizable,” Era comes in many organic shapes and is customizable with additional frame options in metal, wood, and fabric.
