How strong glass is—and yet, how fragile.

Liquid Light is an immersive installation at London Design Festival 2024 from Johnnie Walker and London-based experiential arts collective Marshmallow Laser Feast. Liquid Light is on display at The Old Selfridges Hotel in the Mayfair Design District.

Visitors will experience an array of glass-blown droplets suspended in mid-air. A musical score accompanies the exhibit amidst contemporary imaging techniques. Interplay of light and shadow project elegant undulations onto the surrounding walls.

Elemental forces of gravity and glass coupled with presence offer commentary on the interplay between material and creation, design and experience.

The installation of Liquid Light has been brought to life by The Landmark Project.

Liquid Light is on view at London Design Festival from September 14 through September 22, 2024. Tickets are free and required.
