Bold & Ablaze: Etna by Bocchi
I can’t think about the color orange without recalling Clinique Happy. Do you remember that floral-fruity mall perfume which apparently launched over 20 years ago in 1998? I was certain I got happier each time I spritzed it on my wrist. Years later, any mention of orange evokes Clinique Happy. Talk about a lasting ad campaign.
Clinique Happy’s warm and joyful orange is perhaps more poppy-fluorescent than the darker blaze of the Etna Vessel, part of the Etna Bathroom Suite Collection from Bocchi. Etna’s orange is more of an ember orange, after a fire has reached peak heat and has simmered down into the glowing coals of the hearth.
These bathroom sinks have sculptural charm and impressionably rich color options. They were brought to life by the drawings of Claudia Danelon and Federico Meroni.
Etna Vessel by Bocchi is a unique artist’s palette shaped sink. It almost resembles a bicycle seat, another hip and modern accessory for climate-friendly living in 2024.
Etna Wall-Mount Sink is an extended version of Etna Vessel. The Etna Wall-Mount offers counter space around the asymmetrically set basin.
Ingeniously, the pop-up drain is color matched, so everything about this bath fixture is flush with color. It’s encompassed; there’s not a single missed edge anywhere.
The orange Etna bathroom sink is equal parts hip and modern. Even if your bathroom is dressed out in tennis whites, an orange sink as the pop of color will undoubtedly make a fiery statement.
Both Etna Vessel and Etna Wall-Mount are made of durable fine fireclay. Ceramics of this caliber are extremely resistant to chipping, discoloration, scratching, or cracking.
Keep in mind there are no faucet settings with these Bocchi sinks. They will require a deck- or wall-mounted faucet.
