The list of NeoCon 2024 winners has been announced, and NeoCon Gold went to Swedish brand Bjelin for its Woodura flooring. This no-glue, no-nail, no-sealant click-together floor is a super strong, dent-resistant hardened wood floor made from ethically sourced FSC-certified European forests.

Due to innovations developed by Välinge Innovation, Bjelin’s in-house sister company, Woodura is moisture-resistant and leakproof, thanks to its 5G Dry installation system, which prevents water from seeping through the seams to the sub-floor.

Woodura is designed to last for generations—without requiring surface sanding at any time throughout its life. The best part (besides the no glue)? A thin surface layer means Bjelin can produce “ten times more flooring from the same amount of timber.” Therefore, Woodura is both cost-effective and environmentally sustainable.

Available in multiple styles, finishes, textures, lengths, and widths, Woodura works for both commercial and residential applications. The flooring is available in oak, ash, and walnut. Floors feel natural underfoot because they’re finished with a hard wax oil. Commercial spaces can opt for a pro matt lacquer finish.
