NeoCon 2024: Curate Collection by Shaw Contract
The Curate Collection of carpet tiles by Shaw Contract brings fun into the art of design. “Inspired by a variety of art movements and techniques from classic to modern and pop art, Curate explores a variety of pattern and color,” explains Shaw.
Each style is made with EcoSolution Q100 fiber, which is carbon neutral. Shaw Contract will recycle Curate through its reclamation program and repurpose it into new EcoWorx flooring, which is premium PVC-free carpet tile backing. The Curate Collection satisfies the desire to care for the environment—along with the natural desire to create something new and exciting.
Curate tiles, which are 24 x 24 inches, feature geometric designs, abstract work, and random patterns—all inspired by art movements.
Might the dynamic diagonals of Andy allude to Andy Warhol’s style with its repetition of flat objects and shapes?
With its cartoon-like squiggles, Keith seems to pay tribute to Keith Haring’s Pop Art dynamism. And the embedded rectangles of Gustav are reminiscent of the mosaic-like geometries of Gustav Klimt’s Golden Phase.
