Knoll is the new kid on the block. The American company that resides at the intersection of people and environments is relocating its Chicago showroom from the Merchandise Mart (theMART) to a new space just down the street. Their new address is 81 Fulton Market, and if you’re in town for NeoCon 2024, you’re in luck.

From June 10-12, 2024, Knoll Design Days will have open doors. Expect an immersive experience of products and demos and debuts and programs from across the constellation of Knoll brands, such as Knoll Office, KnollStudio, DatesWeiser, Spinneybeck, FilzFelt, KnollTextiles, and Muuto.

One floor of the new flagship, which has been designed by Gensler, will be the dedicated U.S. flagship for Muuto, the Scandinavian design brand that offers new perspectives on heritage classics. Per Muuto’s website, visits to the new Muuto flagship are by appointment only, so this might be as good a chance as any to sneak right in for an in-person tour.

Knoll’s new Fulton Market location sounds like an artistically inclined creative district with activities to fill your whole day. There are neighborhood businesses that offer various options for grabbing your morning coffee, heading out to lunch, indulging in a mid-day sweet, meeting for drinks, or settling down for dinner. This might be the design-inclined grown up’s equivalent to Disney World.
