NeoCon 2024 Preview: Pavilion O by Kettal
Pavilion O by Kettal is a collection of moveable rooms that allows clients to design a workspace that meets the needs of their enterprise. The extreme isolation of the pandemic years forced many changes in relation to the traditional office. While some folks decided working at home and conferring via Zoom met their needs, many others realized the value of working together in person.
Ketttal’s Pavilion O allows people to collaborate, share, converse, and create in spaces that echo the comforts of home. Yet Pavilion O spaces are constructed to facilitate meetings or individual work.
By using the online configurator, clients enjoy a visual approach to customization. Kettal allows the client to design a workplace inside the landscape where the company is located. It’s not unlike designing your own home, building it replete with furnishings, including touches of nature.
We all thrive on light, open space, and fresh air. Pavilion O’s designs make use of these nourishing elements. The ceilings can be designed with open beams and curved tops, the curve echoing the soft forms of nature. Curtains replace walls, allowing for openness or privacy. Flow-through spaces encourage staff to stop and converse with one another. Seating areas can be added where people lounge comfortably, reinforcing the idea of teams as family.
The collection includes the Pavilion O with meeting rooms from four up to as many people as needed. There are workspaces with desks for computers, privacy booths in four sizes, and tables for meeting, eating, working, and lounging.
Kettal’s products can be used for offices, showrooms, hotels, and convention spaces. A Kettal Pavilion O in the midst of a busy airport terminal would be a welcome sight for the business traveler.
Kettal works with well-known international designers. Begun in 1966, with folding chairs for picnics, Kettal expanded by encouraging innovation and functionality. Its products are manufactured in Europe, most can be recycled, and the paint used is eco-friendly. See Pavilion O at NeoCon or explore the show through our 3rings show coverage.
