Skew Coffee Table by Housefish
Denver-based Housefish designed and manufactured Skew Coffee Table, a jaunty wood table with an angled cross-beam. The asymmetry gives Skew just the right amount of wrong.
Skew Coffee Table features a blackened solid ash frame and a sustainably sourced maple or walnut Appleply surface. The angled frame is crafted from 3D digital puzzle joinery. Perhaps best of all, Skew “assembles in a couple minutes—just put in six screws.”
Scott Bennett, a former automotive engineer who worked on F1 racing cars, started Housefish in 2008 with a focus on local production. “We are fanatic about local sourcing—nearly everything we buy, right down to the screws, is produced in the USA, and most of that right here in Colorado,” Bennett explains.
Housefish manufactures everything in Denver, using a combination of advanced digital manufacturing and hands-on craft techniques.
