Havwood’s Quadro Plank Engineered Flooring
Flooring can be a bit underappreciated at times.
Given its position and the reality that it’s often covered, it can sometimes seem subsumed by the interior landscape, especially in a space as sumptuous as the guest suites at Washington DC’s famed Riggs Hotel (above and below).
But Havwood’s Quadro Engineered Venture Plank flooring rises to the top even though it’s on the bottom. This European Oak tongue-and-groove flooring is so fashionable and functional that it steals the thunder from luxe interiors. The Riggs is one example. Here’s another—Cavendish House, London, a posh penthouse in St. John’s wood that overlook’s the Lord’s Cricket Ground.
Quadro’s deep, rich tones were an ideal choice here: “Characterized by its spectrum of interesting shades and smooth surface texture, the color of the wood enhances the overall scheme, providing the perfect finish for this high-end London scheme.”
Quadro Venture Plank is Havseal Green- and Cradle-to-Cradle-Bronze-certified. It comes in a variety of lengths and configurations. It’s also suitable for underfloor heating.
