A New Klasik
Last week at Orgatec, designer Gabriel Teixidó and Akaba offered up a beauty of a new chair.
Klasik is an arresting piece sculpted of Oak or Walnut with subtle curves for a cradling effect.
Designed for corporate/hospitality environments as well as the home, Klasik is warm, elegant, and comforting: “reflecting a timeless and classic personality that’s ideal for any room and circumstance.”
The chair embraces a contemporary meets craftsmanship approach. Users may mix and match with a variety of padded upholstery options and base styles: four-legs for a more casual, residential feel; swivel style with wheels for zipping around the workplace; and a versatile sled base for a multi-purpose performer.
Other options for Klasik include arms, which arise from the base in a complementary and elegant swooping gesture, and dozens of powdercoat finishes.
