Designer Elizabeth Lowrey and Elkus Manfredi Architects offer their initial foray into product design with the Harbor Stone Desk System, “introducing more humanity to the workplace in a first-of-its kind alternative to traditional orthogonal workplace benching systems.”

Harbor Stone’s hallmark is its pleasant, organic curvature, a shape that resembles those found in nature and, hence, intuitively pleases and energizes users.

There are a number of pragmatic perks as well. The curvilinear shape provides effective acoustics, creating an enhanced sense of privacy while reducing background noise.
