In honor of the String system’s 70th anniversary, String recently unveiled String System Beige and String Pocket Blush. The new colors broaden the appeal of the classic Scandinavian storage originally designed by Nisse and Kajsa Strinning in 1949.

String System “is recognizable for its iconic coated-wire framework and panels that resemble ladders of metal thread.” Now, String System Beige offers a neutral tone that is timeless. The warm beige is available for wall and floor panels, as well as the 11.8-inch deep shelves.

String Pocket, designed by Nisse Strinning in 2005, will be available in Blush, a warm rose color “developed in collaboration with leading Scandinavian interior designer Lotte Agaton.” The must-have color is perfect for living areas, offices, and children’s rooms.

Both String System Beige and String Pocket Blush are designed to be adjustable. String System is a flexible storage solution. Customers can expand, minimize, or dismantle and reconfigure String System “to suit a new living or workspace.” For small spaces, the modular String Pocket, which combines two panels and three shelves in various configurations, fits virtually anywhere.
