About Krista Ninivaggi
In 2014, Krista Ninivaggi launched her boutique firm K&CO, with focus on hospitality and large scale multifamily residential interiors. Ninivaggi started her professional career at the Rockwell Group and later moved on to the firm AvroKO before joining SHoP Architects as the Director of the Interior Design Group. During her tenure at SHoP, she completed interiors for projects such as the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn and the New York Corporate Office of Shopbop. Ninivaggi is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. In 2013, Ninivaggi was honored with the title of "Young Gun" by Curbed.com. Most recently, Ninivaggi was named "Designer of the Year," for 2014 by Contract Design Magazine.
