“Friendly and welcoming.” That’s one way to describe spring once it really gets going. Italian brand Pedrali has equally capitalized on spring’s warmer personality in two new bright and floral collections.

A Friend for Spring

Buddyhub Sideboard by designer studio Busetti Garuti Redaelli embodies that buddy-like persona: kind, helpful, and eager to be of service. The discreet elegance of Buddyhub Sideboard is in its storage capabilities and shelving, not to mention the ways in which it keeps sound at bay.

Buddyhub is a space divider, both visually and acoustically. See that soft wrap-around paneling encompassing the whole thing? That’s a sound-absorbing panel. This means Buddyhub can be a cozy little nook even within noisier environments.

The water-resistant top above the three solid laminate doors is equipped with a functional cable duct, which means you can accommodate small appliances like an electric tea kettle or a coffee maker.

Color options abound for the frame and soft wraparound fabrics, including Easter egg hues like a magenta H52 shade in a fire retardant velvet.

Flower Power

Pedrali is also serving up floral-inspired hardware in their Blume System. Blume System features a sophisticated flower-shaped profile in extruded aluminum. From above, the hardware resembles a flower shape.

The floral design is fresh and crisp and charming. Blume System shelving is a fit for workspace, corporate, and residential settings.

The botanic design between German designer Sebastian Herkner and Pedrali originally bloomed back in 2020. Back then, the flower power hardware debuted in chairs.

The Blume System newly incorporates the sylvan shape into shelving. There are several sizes and a variety of configurations, including a two-level beside table or a three- or four-level shelving system.
