Radiant & Rosy in Marimekko
Marimekko is no stranger to springtime—the Finnish brand’s most iconic patterns revel in radiant blooms. This tradition continues with new cotton fabrics sure to be the envy of flowers IRL.
Charles

Charles, which brings chickens into the mix, is now available by the yard in cotton. This red, pink, yellow, blue, and green pattern features a playful rooster amidst a field of flowers.
Karuselli

Karuselli combines joyous organic arcs and expressionistic blooms in a dynamic pattern recalling the movement of its namesake merry-go-round. Designed by Katsuji Wakisaka, this print is a perfect example of form following function—you can almost feel the giddiness of a carousel ride.
Rosarium

A riot of splendorous blooms (perhaps poppies), Rosarium mixes orange and pink with dashes of red and blue. The result might just be the embodiment of joy.
Siirtolapuutarha

A favorite print gets reinterpreted in grass green. Siirtolapuutarha looks like a field of creeping groundcover interrupted here and there by the yellows and pinks of wildflowers.
Unikko

Perhaps Marimekko’s most famous print, Unikko shows off its softer side in pale pink cotton sateen. Just envision a little girl’s room top to bottom in this ballet-slipper floral!
