Coated with platinum and “other precious metal catalysts,” the filter harnesses these nano-esque filaments to create a ridiculously expansive surface—with an area roughly equivalent to the size of a tennis court. The porous structure captures odors, grease, and harmful gases and rapidly oxidizes them into water and inert gas.

The filtration system gets a boost from the range’s formidable power: at 3600 watts, FreshBake delivers 12.5% more heat than standard electric cooktops. It also offers a space-saving five burner design—a shoulder-to-shoulder feature that accommodates all sizes of cookware and makes it easy to manage the rigors of multi-course meals.

The range also features SynCook, an intuitive technology that deploys the hood (seamlessly descending from its recessed cavity) whenever the cooktop is in use. The cooking surface is made of scratch- and shock-resistant SCHOTT ceramic glass. FreshBake also features a four-layered QuadraShield door with Low-e glass, minimizing heat transfer and keeping the exterior to a cool-to-the-touch 109.4 F.
