Ceilings that Sing
Resolve to eschew the echo in 2025 with new acoustical solutions from Carnegie. Part of the Tuned collection, Kirei Tessellate Cloud and Kirei Pizzelle Cloud are modular acoustic ceiling baffles that offer a nice balance between functionality and aesthetics.

Named for the decorative tiling method in which different polygons are fitted together without leaving space between, Tessellate references this ancient adornment with many-sided shapes constituted of triangular facets.

With its undulating flourish, Pizzelle is equally geometric yet tends toward the wavy and organic.

The name references the popular Italian waffle cookie, which is pressed into baroque adornment with a pizzelle iron that makes it look almost too ornate to eat.

Kirei’s iteration features interlocking elements that “press, fit, and lock together, creating a geometric yet soft structure that can be patterned for a modern look.”

Both Pizzelle Cloud and Tessallate Cloud are sustainably designed. They feature 60% post-consumer PET recycled plastic and are Red-List-Free, meeting or exceeding standards for VOCs. Kirei offers custom printing of both products using Kirei Ink, an in-house printing service that offers more than 35 colors.
