Carnegie expands its Conscious Collection with Botanic Print, a vinyl-alternative line of silicone hybrid coated upholstery with a new design inspired by plant intelligence.

PVC, otherwise known as “vinyl,” is the single most environmentally damaging of all plastics on the planet. Botanic Print is part of the Carnegie Siltech brand of sustainable silicone coated fabrics. It’s like vinyl, but better. Botanic Print upholstery is 100% free of PVC, finishes, and PFAS.

Inspiration for Botanic Print stems from the cellular cartography of plants and the way they grow in vine-like form and cover sides of buildings, like ivy adorning academic buildings of colleges in the fall.

Botanic Print is available in five shades. Choose from autumnal hues of chocolate and gold, a subdued indigo, a gray tone, blue and green leaves on an ivory background, or a playful aquamarine.

As a line of textiles, the Conscious Collection can be cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectants, making it an ideal upholstery option for healthcare, hospital, workplace, or education environments—those high-traffic places at the nexus of our lives.
