Mizetto Bloom Wall Storage

Mizetto Bloom Wall Storage

This week’s theme is bubbles!

Why bubbles as opposed to simply circular? Because bubbles do much more than sit there and be round: They’re effervescent. They float. They exist in multiple dimensions. They can morph from small to large to veritably bursting with the pressure of their own expanding circumference. And of course they can vanish into an infinitesimal spray with the merest prick of a pin.

We like the bubble-esque nature of these simple, clever Bloom storage hooks. The different sizes, vibrant colors, and ease with which they can be made to decorate the wall at different heights evokes unpredictability—the way soap bubbles might begin in a linear formation, then rapidly be blown off course in a wisp of wind.

Designed by Studio Nooi for Mizetto, this “Dainty clothing storage system that gives a strong first impression” was inspired by the range of items one encounters in entry areas and hallways. The circular knobs are made to evoke a flower’s petals, which, everyone knows, can easily slough off after blooming and be blown aloft…

Bloom is powder-coated metal and oak plywood. The hooks come in nine standard colors. It’s available in a freestanding version too.
