Bubbles: Distorted
Graphic designer Roman Bratschi begins with the benign notion of colored bubbles and stretches, compresses, morphs, and transforms them with his “Distorted Bubbles” concept.
A feat of stunning digital prestidigitation using TOOLS Cinema 4d, Octane, and Photoshop, these other-worldly images evoke everything from hyper-ripened fruit to the classic lava lamp, with its slowly gurgling globules.
A digital artist who’s done brand development for Apple, RayBan, Spotify, and more, Bratschi’s bizarre and beguiling forms are inspired by nature: “His appreciation for organic elements weaves through the narrative of his techniques, exposing their natural simplicity in the final piece.”
Distorted Bubbles would look lush and lavish as public art. In fact, we’d love to see it on display as a floor-to-ceiling mural using Direct-to-Glass ceramic frit printing.
