2024 marks a special anniversary for Pedrali: ten years of the Parenthesis Collection.

Designed by Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci, Parenthesis was first presented in 2014 at Salone del Mobile. True to the name, this collection of side tables and coffee tables duplicates the look of the aforementioned mark of punctuation.

As a grammatical element, parentheses often surround and draw attention to the language between them. As a concept for a table, Parenthesis highlights the beauty of the solid top by bracketing it between a base of curved plywood oak veneer.

While it’s a bit of a stretch to call Parenthesis a bubble, the round table in particular reminds us of this diaphanous phenomena.

The tables also have a bubbly kind of vibe. The curved side profiles give Parenthesis a dynamic aspect. These tables are lively and light, versatile and fun.
