Sunflower by Shift

Meet a new kind of Sunflower. This concrete fire pit designed by Shift Studio is inspired by the common, yet spectacular sunflower and modular design.

As it stands now, the world of fire pit fabrication is arduous. One single concrete mold is heavy. Heavy to make, finish, store, and transport.

Sunflower’s modular system is smaller concrete casted pieces attached to an internal metal frame.

It’s a design similar to petals on a flower.

Sunflower’s “petals,” which come in a variety of tones, are easy to take off one-by-one and also put back on. It’s so much easier to move a fire pit that disassembles.

For product longevity, each individual piece can be replaced if damaged.

The sunflower effect of the Sunflower fire pit

When in use, Sunflower holds the fire within its interior metal frame core. Light channels out through the concrete spacing creating a distinctive pattern resembling a glowing sunflower or an extraordinary celestial view of the sun, the beating heart of our solar system.

A calm evening, Sunflower center-stage.

Sunflower is ideal for restaurants with outdoor seating, hotel and hospitality settings, and curiously inviting home backyards.
