SmartKitchen by Gamadecor for Porcelanosa Gets Even Smarter
SmartKitchen by Gamadecor for Porcelanosa is the future of kitchen design, and if you’re attending NeoCon 2024 you’ll get a front row seat to seeing the new SmartKitchen updates in action.
SmartKitchen by Gamadecor was one of the first kitchen concepts capable of being more than just a kitchen. SmartKitchen helps predict your shopping needs and prevents food from going bad. These might seem like micro everyday culinary choices, but they effectively contribute to a larger global conversation as it relates to intricate food systems, nutrition and human health, sustainability, and climate change.
The Porcelanosa Group stepped up its research for the newest functional SmartKitchen updates. They’ve honed their focus on maximizing energy efficiency and added new metallic lacquers. These include silver, aluminum, and bronze colorways. SmartKitchen is now a fully immersive experience that combines cutting-edge technology and elegance of design with unparalleled functionality. There is no limit to creativity in the kitchen here.
The new dual induction cooktop is practically invisible in the latest SmartKitchen models. As if by magic, it appears you are boiling your pasta water in the same place where you were just cutting the tomatoes. The induction technology powers up to 2,000 watts without any batteries or external cables. Now, SmartKitchen also acts as a hub and wireless electrical charging station for household appliances.
The countertops are designed with the sintered stone XTONE, which fits together for seamless alignment and creates an aesthetically pleasing countertop. The joint-free single surface is easy to clean. It does not require any special cleaning products. Its minimalist design lends kitchens an impeccable visual appeal, while also guaranteeing a bigger, more versatile workspace.
In case you were wondering, the design’s technology is safe. The cooktop is only activated by devices that use electrical induction so you won’t be able to accidentally, say, charge up your coffee mug. Concealed doors in the latest model are so well hidden you barely know there’s storage behind there.
Other features in this rollout include new finishes by XTONE for worktops and cabinets, including a grooved finish that gives off major beachy SoCal chic vibes.
The Smart Kitchen by Gamadecor was singled out from among 7,300 entries from 56 different countries and awarded best sustainable design at the 2020 iF Design Awards. There’s also a corresponding SmartKitchen app that monitors the shelf life of the food as well as users’ personal eating habits. Upon command, artificial intelligence can make dinner suggestions based on what you’ve got on hand. Life suddenly became a lot easier with SmartKitchen.
