Lounge 6011 by Matthew Gemmell uses oval pieces of wood and a tubular frame to construct a relaxing lounge chair.

Currently a student at Northumbria University in the UK, Gemmell recently showed Lounge 6011 at the student showcase for furniture and product design.

According to Gemmell, “The Concept of this project was to create a lounge chair fit for an office space using industrialism and nature as influences to create a unique aesthetic product which can be used to relax the body and the mind.”
