Leave it to designer extraordinaire Patricia Urquiola to reimagine the humble coat hanger. Jellies by Kartell brings an entirely unexpected material to the quotidian world of wall storage: glass. Actually, the material is thermoplastic technopolymer, which resembles glass.

Jellies Coat Hangers come in three sizes, each with its own texture. The Jellies collection features five colors: Amber, Light Blue, Crystal, Pink, and Green. Arranged in lines, curves or constellations, Jellies Coat Hangers provide practicality in a pretty package. In fact, one could argue that a group of Urquiola’s Jellies makes a fabulous art piece.

While it’s almost sad to cover them up by actually using them for errant jackets and scarves, imagine how happy you’ll feel every time you grab your coat.
