A new typology for floor lamps, Moodmoon Framed by the inimitable Ingo Maurer is new for 2023. It has the same cheeky quality as other lighting by Maurer but with a Zen twist. The new direction comes from Moodmoon Framed’s designer, Sebastian Hepting.

Moodmoon Framed can be used as a floor or table lamp. “This is made possible by a frame stretched with Japanese paper, behind which the light source sits,” according to Ingo Maurer. Moodmoon Framed offers 17 different lighting moods, including Liquid Gold and Indigo.

Part art and part lighting, Moodmood Framed is as much a conversation piece as a customizable light source. It certainly lives up to the Ingo Maurer brand, which produces “human centric lighting.”
