Corazones is a collection of dynamically shaped area rugs by Mexico City-based studio Balmaceda. Available at The Future Perfect, Corazones (meaning hearts in Spanish) explores Mexican heritage and Indian/Nepalese artisanal techniques.

Each rug in the Corazones collection is named after a woman. Like all women, every Corazones is a one-of-a-kind creature that is custom-made (dimensions can be specified).

Fernanda uses bold reds and dark gray tones to create a dynamic composition.

Isabel combines blues and greens with a dash of ocher and saturated purple.

Marcela is complex and bright, with pops of hot pink and aqua.

Sofia features moody blues. The shapes may put you in mind of river rocks within a tumbling body of water.
