Designer Georgia Hatton says it’s a work in progress, but we’re still quite taken with this Knitted Room Divider.

The idea here is to breathe some life back into mid-century inspired work that evokes traditionally “feminine” methods of creation.

While knitting certainly isn’t the exclusive provenance of the feminine, we admire the return-to-roots approach of integrating the soft shapes and textures of traditional handcrafting with the rigors of wood. The likes of Anni Albers, Marli Ehrman, and, yes, Florence Knoll would be proud.
