Be Like Water: the Madonna del Monte Table
Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance and Murano Glass collaborated on the otherworldly Madonna del Monte Coffee Table.

Inspired by the Madonna del Monte island on the Venice lagoon, the table captures the incessant flow of water against the banks, an effect that’s especially pronounced in the shadows beneath when the light is right.

The effect is perhaps even more apparent up-close, in the amazing detail and subtlety of the glass, which looks like its perpetually molten. Here’s another version in transparent.
